Father we can do no good until Your Spirit, according to Your sovereign will, begins to move upon lives and hearts. If not for Your grace, not one of us would be saved. There are none who seek You, and really want to be holy, right, and true, except Your Spirit first breathes upon them, and creates the desire in them. Jesus help us remember the tremendous process involved when one calls Your name, asking for salvation. Your birth at Bethlehem; the anguish, darkness, and mystery of the cross; the wonder and miracle of the resurrection; sending forth the amazing Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost; the process behind every call upon Your precious name, You arranged, and are behind it all.
