Bow, Blessed, But, Glory...

Photo: AMEN....Photo: Learn to appreciate life...Photo: Mat 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Even as the son of man,.... Meaning himself, the seed of the woman, the son of Abraham, and of David, according to the flesh; and whom he proposes as an example of humility, and as an argument to draw them off from their ambitious views of worldly grandeur, and from all thoughts of the Messiah's setting up a temporal kingdom; since he

came not to be ministered unto by others; to be attended on in pomp and state, to have a numerous retinue about him, waiting upon him, and ministering to him; as is the case of the princes, and great men of the world; though he is Lord of all, and King of kings;

but to minister; in the form of a servant unto others, going about from place to place to do good, both to the bodies and souls of men: he "came" forth from his Father, down from heaven, into this world, by his assumption of human nature, to "minister" in the prophetic office, by preaching the Gospel, and working miracles, in confirmation of it; and in the priestly office, one branch of which is expressed in the next clause,

and to give his life a ransom for many: what he came to give was his life, which was his own, and than which nothing is more dear and precious: besides, his life was an uncommon one, being not only so useful to men, and entirely free from sin in itself, but was the life of the man Jesus, who is in union with the Son of God: this he came to "give", and did give into the hands of men, to the justice of God, and death itself; which giving, supposes it to be his own, and at his own disposal; was not forfeited by any act of his, nor was it forced from him, but freely laid down by him; and that as a "ransom", or redemption price for his people, to deliver them from the evil of sin, the bondage of Satan, the curses of a righteous law, from eternal death, and future wrath, and, in short, from all their enemies: which ransom price was paid "for" them in their room and stead, by Christ, as their substitute; who put himself in their legal place, and laid himself under obligation to pay their debts, and clear their scores, and redeem them from all their iniquities, and the evil consequences of them: and this he did "for many"; for as many as were ordained to eternal life; for as many as the Father gave unto him; for many out of every kindred, tongue, and people, and nation; but not for every individual of human nature; for many are not all. - GillPhoto: "The greater the difficulty, the more glory in surmounting it. Thoughts & Prayers

Oh, happy day, When Jesus washed my sins away. Oh, happy day

The world spent nearly 2$ Trillion on war in 2012. 1/20th of that could have eradicated poverty and brought world peace.

Don't "own the zone" that's not your own. God has a plan that is "Taylor made" for us and it's called "being in his will". The "Abundant life" and "Full Reward" are in "His" plans for us. Struggle comes when one "makes his own plan" and then goes "God Bless this". A perfect God and a perfect plan need 2 things, Prayer and cooperation. Step into the "zone that's your own" and See, Feel, and Know the difference! You'll be glad you did!

A prayer for today: I asked God to give each of us the perseverance to endure the storm we are currently in. Every storm runs out of energy, and those who are faithful will outlast the storm rather than be defeated by it. I have implored Him to make each of us determined to last longer than our storm!

Dear Heavenly Father, I am so thankful that You love me unconditionally. Please chase away destructive thoughts that keep returning to take away my confidence in You and Your work in me. I want to rest in You and your love. Amen!

Never get comfortable on any level. For with every new level, you will always find a new devil. If it hasn't manifested itself yet, trust me, he's there, lurking in the shadows watching, studying and waiting on his next opportunity to attack. The good news is that if God promoted you to the level, He has also given you the anointing to deal with the devil.

HELP IN THE HOUR OF NEED

Matthew 14:24-33 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.  But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Jesus always comes in the storm. It had been a great relief to escape from the pressure of the crowd to His place of prayer, on heights swept by the evening breeze and lighted by the holy stars. But He tore Himself away because His friends needed Him. He is watching you also in the storm and will certainly come to your help.

He uses the element we dread as the path for His approach. The waves were endangering the boat, but Jesus walked on them. In our lives are people and circumstances we dread, but it is through these that the greatest blessing of our lives will come, if we look through them to Christ.

His coming is sometimes delayed. The gray dawn was already beginning to spread over the scene. The disciples’ strength was spent. He was not too late to be of service, but just in time to save them from despair. Be of good cheer, and if Jesus bids you come to Him on the water, always believe that His commands are enabling. Keep looking to Him, not at the storm. - Meyer

Purpose & Problems

Purpose and problems will often go hand in hand. If you’re waiting for your problems to clear the way for your purpose, you can forget it! Don’t be deceived; your greatest obstacle could be your greatest opportunity.

Christ in you...

For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. Minister Calvin Watt

Family; Please allow me to pray,

Father God we come to You this morning as humble as we know how; thanking You for a much deserved rest last night. We also thank You for the awaking touch this morning. But before we can go any further Lord God, we must ask You for forgiveness for anything we might have done, said or even thought of. Father God if tomorrow never comes on this earth, we humbly pray that we will leave behind a testimony that points to you. In the Holy, Precious, Name of Jesus.

Help us Father God, to live as if today were our last before entering eternity, for we know not what the day may bring Lord God, but You do. We pray that we will love others with a Godly Love, that we will be kind and considerate, that we will share who you are and what you have done, In the name of Jesus! That we will smile at those we see throughout the day, that we will remember and pray for others, that we will appreciate every little thing and have an attitude of gratitude, that we will be honest and responsible in all things.

Thank you for blessing us and loving us, and filling us with your spirit. Please feed our souls and give us strength this day. But most of all, may You be glorified and my families be blessed. Our prayer is that we touch lives and sow seeds throughout the day. This is our prayer in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ we pray, Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You All; Have a Great Godly Day in the Lord.
