God in prayer...

Now understand, nothing fuels prayer like need. Neither the tranquil mood of a calming organ nor a dimly lit room with hallowed walls can promote the power of prayer like the aching of a heart that says, " I need Thee every hour." The presence of need will produce the power of prayer. Prayer is the confession, " I do not have it all." It is the humbling experience of the most arrogant mind admitting, " There are still things I cannot resolve." The presence of prayer is , in itself, the birthplace of praise. Prayer is your acknowledging the sovereign authority of God " who can" You ask, " Can what" God can do whatever He wants to do, whenever He wants to do it. What a subliminal to know the sovereignty of God. Mary Priceless Russell
