Minister Calvin Watt

Good Morning family,
Let me start out this morning by saying to you that there will be times in our lives when we feel that life is not what you hoped it to be. There will be times when God calls on you to do something you might not want to do; this family is where your will must be His will and not yours. Let me also say that the outcome might not be what you want it to be as well. What we must understand family is that Obedience is the key! We must learn that obedience is the only thing that matters when it comes to God! You see family; we are called to execute, and leave the outcome to God.

Sometimes that outcome can be a very positive one. In other cases, we may not get the kind of outcome we want. We may even get a negative outcome. The difference is that we know that we have been faithful to what He has called us to do and we yield results to God. God often blesses obedience beyond what we deserve family….Amen Somebody! God may call each of us to be obedient to situations that may not show positive results. It is in these times that our faith must be obedience-based versus outcome-based. Let me put it to you this way: What if Jesus had considered the immediate ramifications of whether he would go to the cross? Based on the immediate outcome, the decision would have been an easy one. After all family, who wants to die on a cross? However, for Him there was a higher purpose in that obedience.

We are called to this same kind of obedience. This means putting our own flesh on the line daily and dying to our own self-will. Today is the closing of my Family Reunion and some of the Preacher’s in the family will be bringing a word from God. We each have different topics and I can tell you right now family that not everyone is going to like something that will be said. But as long as we are Obedient to God’s word and yield the outcome to God….All Will Be Well With Him! In other words family; it’s not us, it’s about Him.

Please allow me to pray,
Father God; In the name of Jesus, I come to You this morning as humbly as I know how. I ask You for forgiveness of sins. So many things just look impossible. Sometimes we wonder how we will make it through this trial or how will we survive or where is this problem leading? But, when we stop concentrating on the problem and look to You and Your promises, We are relieved. For we know that all things are possible through You. You are in control and will make all things work to the good for those who love You. Thank You for those promises and for the "breath of fresh air" we feel in knowing You are here with us, for us, and in us through Your Holy Spirit. Please continue to help us to be obedient to Your word. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You All and Have A Great Godly Sunday in the Lord.
