Good Morning Family; Please read (2 Corinthians 10:1-6)
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4)

Let me start off by saying that Paul says we do not employ the weapons of the flesh. Right now someone is asking the questions: “What are those weapons? What does the world use to try to solve the problems it recognizes in society?” You know what it uses: intimidation, manipulation, pressure groups, compromises, psychological pressure, physical force, or threats. Demonstrations that ultimately result in raised voices, clenched fists, and outbreaks of conflict. These are the weapons of the world. So it is understandable why those who are governed by the flesh would seek to employ fleshly weapons to get things done. But the universal testimony of history is these do not work.

We have other weapons family; they are mighty, they are powerful, and they accomplish something. They will “demolish strongholds” of evil, Paul says. But there are no answers in this passage to the question, “What are these weapons?” The apostle has referred to them in various places in his letters.

The first weapon available to us family, is truth. Because we read and believe in God’s word, we are given an insight into life and reality that others do not have. We know what is behind the forces at work in our society today, and we ought to know how to go about overcoming them. That is what truth is all about. Truth is realism.

The wonderful thing about the Word of God is that when you understand the world as the Bible sees it, you are looking at life the way it really is. That is why it is so important that we understand the Scriptures we refresh our minds with all the time, because we are constantly bombarded with illusion and error every day, and it is easy to drift back into thinking the way everybody around us thinks, Amen Somebody!

Love is also a powerful weapon family, and in Scripture, the Word of God links truth with love. When you begin to treat people with courtesy instead of anger, when you accept them as people with feelings like yours and understand that they too are struggling with difficulties and see things out of focus as you often do, when you begin to treat them as people in trouble who need help -- that is what love is -- then you change the whole picture, I’m talking right?

Along with truth and love in Scripture is faith. Faith is the recognition that God is present in history. He has not left us alone to stumble on our own way, Halleluiah! The Lord Jesus sits in control of all the nations of earth. Faith believes that and expects Him to do something. When you get a chance family, read (Hebrews 11) and you will find out that we have the great record of the plain, ordinary men and women like you and me who found, by faith, that they could stop the mouths of lions, open the doors of prisons, and change the course of history, Amen Somebody!

Another powerful weapon for us, proceeding from faith, is prayer. The power of prayer is held before us throughout Scripture. We are constantly exhorted to expose the situations in which we find ourselves to the prayers of believing people, both individually and corporately, praying that God would move in and change things. Again and again the record testifies that Christians who pray have drastically altered events. So I say to you in closing; we must use the weapons that God has given us in every area of our lives’! It is like the American Express Card; Don’t Leave Home Without Them! Amen, Amen, and Amen. God Bless You All, Have A Great Godly Day in the Lord.

In, You, Am, Me, Art...

Photo: Too often parents feel helpless to do anything about bad influences of certain friends in their children's lives. But we are not helpless. We have the power of God and the truth of His Word behind us.

If your children don't have close believing friends, pray that their friends receive the Lord, and that strong believing friends will enter into their lives.

Pray, Wants, Will, Armor...

Photo: Lord, I thank You for the many men and women of God who’ve gone before us in our nation and paved the way for us in prayer. I know there are countless blessings we enjoy today because of their faithfulness. Thank You that this nation was founded on prayer and faith.

I pray we’ll continue in that tradition and that a revival of faith will break out all across our land. I pray that people everywhere will join together in prayer so that we’ll become a force for good. #PrayingNationPhoto: #RehabTime #NothingLikeItPhoto: Peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition... Previous verses of the week: http://bit.ly/1lXBdGoPhoto: “We surely need the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20), to stand and conquer, but ours is the victory!”
-Corrie ten Boom, Newsletter - 1961

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.

In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.

To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak."

Good Morning Family; Please allow me to Pray,
Lord God, We come to You this morning as humbly as we know how. There is no greater feeling of liberation than to experience this freedom from sin and death that You have provided for us through Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Today our hearts and our souls are free to praise yo. Hallelujah! For this we are very thankful. On this Independence Day we are reminded of all those who have sacrificed for our freedom, following the example of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Let us not take our freedom, both physical and spiritual, for granted. May we always remember that our freedom was purchases with a very high price. Our freedom cost others their very lives.

Lord God, today, Bless those who have served and continue to give their lives for our freedom. With favor and bounty meet their needs and watch over their families. Help us to live our lives in a way that glorifies you, Lord God.

Give us the strength to be a blessing in someone else's life today, and grant us the opportunity to lead others into the freedom that can be found only in knowing our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. This is our prayer; let these, Your People say Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You All and Have A Great Godly Day in the Lord. Happy Fourth of July Everyone.

Good Morning Family; Please allow me to pray, Father God; In the name of Jesus, we come to You this morning with our eyes lifted to the hills because we know without a doubt that is where our help comes from. We ask forgiveness for anything that we might have said, done or even thought of doing, right now, In the name of Jesus. Create in us a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit.

Lord God, when things get hectic, when thing get rough, and we are bombarded with trials and temptations, It seems like we are in the fire and can sometimes become weak when life gets hard. Please help us through the fiery times. We pray that we will emerge to be better people, more faithful Christians, and a living testimony to Your grace. We need Your strength, because we know for a fact that we cannot do it alone. Lord God we come to you with questions and looking for answers. Are our testimonies what they should be? What would others say about our testimonies for You? Can others see your work in our lives? If so Lord God; let thy will be done in our lives.

Please forgive us where we have failed. We are sorry for disappointing you, for not spending as much time with You as we should, for not always doing the things we should, and for the wrong things we sometimes choose to do. Please work on us and build a testimony of Your life in and through us today. We praise You and thank You in the name of Jesus, this is our prayer. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You All and Have a Great Godly day in the Lord.

God never promised that life would be fair. But He did promise that if you will stay in faith, He will take what’s meant for your harm and use it to your advantage.

Whenever you get to the point where you want God more than you want your flesh you will look at your flesh and say, “You’re an enemy of my purpose”. If you want the blessing you’ve got to be able to cut things out of your life.

Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name. (NLT) ( Hebrews 13:15 ) When we pray to God, most of the time we gloss over praising God. Instead, we cut to the chase and just ask God to bless us, our children, and heal our neighbors. Yet we serve a powerful God. One who deserves to be recognized and admired for His love, power, and grace. Let's spend a few moments talking to God by sharing our love and honor for Him. Isn't He glorious?

Father I pray that You will strengthen, complete and perfect us, that You will make us what we should be, that You will equip us with everything good to carry out Your will while You work in us and accomplish what is pleasing in Your sight, in Jesus Name, Amen!!

Glory to the Lord in the highest. We believe He is the Savior of all. Jesus became the innocent victim of suffering as He died for us. But He pried Himself free from Death's icy fingers, flew to the realm of Heaven beyond, to the seat of high honor, reserved only for Him since before time began. Our beliefs aren't owned only by us. We share them with millions who commune with us from Christ's cup, all while looking up with grateful hearts, thankful for our forgiveness and for the life yet to come. Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart Amen!

Encouragement will come from occasionally looking back and being reminded that as you prayed He was answering. God is a prayer-answering God. Accept the fact that you don’t know everything and decide that you will learn something new on purpose. Forget about the absolutes and generalizations you’ve been holding onto and make your life better this year! People may criticize you or tell you that it’s too late. Don’t let that slow you down. Show them the side of you they’ve never seen before. This is your year to live. Make a decision to go some place you’ve never gone before. Do one thing that you’ve contemplated for years. Whatever you’ve been waiting to do, do it!
