Some see
Stephan Ashton
Some see the Word of God like a disease:
They stay clear of it for fear of being outcast!
Some see it like medicine:
They know it is good for them, but cannot get past the taste.
Some see the Word of God like caviar:
Though valuable, it is too rich for their blood; small portions do they eat.
Still others see the Word of God like coffee:
One cup a day, and never after 10:00 am.
Then there are those that eat and drink, never getting enough,
depending on it as if it were food and water!
These are they that hunger and thirst for it even as we speak!
Proverbs 31 Ministries
Everybody has a past. When you come to Christ, He doesn't undo your past, He doesn't take it away, or ignore it. He redeems your past and uses it to lead you to a new life and brighter future. "Praise God I'm Redeemed!"

Phyllis Bryant
So often we deny God and His plans for us. If we do not like His plans we attempt to change them ourselves. Let us not try and change God's plans for us because those plans are the most wonderful plans.

Some See
Faith is that indescribable strength which allows us to persevere even when the facts seem damning and the truth unbearable.
Touching Lives
All that glitters is not gold. All that "believes" is not real faith. Real faith can stand the refining fire of suffering and the undeserved evil, and come out even stronger and more resilient. Real faith sees God as completely trustworthy. Real faith doesn't have to understand the "why" of everything that happens; it trusts the "Who" over it. You never have to understand what God is doing if you know you can always trust God to do what is right. Remember, God never did give Job the one thing he asks for – an explanation for why "bad things happen to good people." What He wanted from Job, He wants from all of us – trust. --Pastor Merritt

Surrender
If we surrender disappointments to God and say, “Lord, be my light and lead me through this,” His work will be accomplished faster. However, if we wallow in the darkness of bitterness, casting blame upon God and other people, we end up suffering more.
Remember to let God’s light guide you through dark situations!

No matter how dark the sky, how discouraging the circumstances, how desperate the situation, God is there, a God who is too good to forget and too great to fail. God is there, His mighty arm ruling this universe for Him, redeeming all who will let Him, and reinforcing any who respond to Him in faith and obedience! ~Leo Green~
