Created In His Image

As Jesus sees us daily conformed into His image, He rejoices in us. Like a sculptor with his chisel, chipping out a statue that lies hidden in a block of marble, the Lord smiles as He brings out our features with his graving tool, the Spirit, making us like Himself. He finds much delight in us.

Ephesians 1:7-11

God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan.
Ephesians 1:9-11

The Final Judgment

The Final Judgment -
When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

Then the King will say to those on his right, Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me. Matthew 25:31-36

Enlightenment

Deception

For meditation: Respectability and being religious are among Satan’s most effective weapons to blind men and women to their true sinful condition and to their need of the Lord Jesus Christ as the only one who can save them 2 Corinthians 4:4. Is Satan successfully pulling the wool over your eyes? Charles Spurgeon Sermon no. 618 March 5, 1865

Narrow Door

Someone asked the Lord, will only a few be saved? He replied, Work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail. When the master of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. You will stand outside knocking and pleading, Lord, open the door for us! But he will reply, I don’t know you or where you come from. Luke 13:23-25

Love Is

1 Corinthians 13 Love Is the Greatest - If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing....Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

The Word

As we go from level to level the word grows with us. In this new season reading the word is an enlightening experience. Scripture I have read many times before seems to jump out with new emphasis! I love the word, so I'm loving it! John 1 Christ, the Eternal Word - In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. Amen, Hallelujah, Bless His Holy, Precious, Name Forever!!!

Philippians 2:1-11

Have the same mind Christ Jesus, who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied himself (kenosis), taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death -- even death on a cross. (Philippians 2:1-11)

Lion of Judah

It's in our Gethsemane moments we realize it's all about our relationship with Him. There is no one else you can always depend on. This is a one on one relationship based on absolute trust!

Perfect Love

All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love, live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. 1 John 4:15-18

Forgiveness

God, If we forgive those who sin against us, You will forgive us, but if we refuse to forgive them, You won't forgive us. Matthew 6:14-15

Chosen By God

We are a chosen people. We are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, we can show others the goodness of God, for he called us out of the darkness into his wonderful light. Once we had no identity as a people, but now we are God’s people, and we have received God’s mercy.

Trust Him

We are a chosen people. We are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, we can show others the goodness of God, for he called us out of the darkness into his wonderful light. Once we had no identity as a people, but now we are God’s people, and we have received God’s mercy.

Holy Holy Holy

Deuteronomy 14:2 You have been set apart as holy to the LORD your God, and he has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be his own special treasure.

God's Part

Tell me why I fail to trust Jesus when He promised He'll make a way? Why do I fail the test, and cry, when He said I would be blessed? Though sometimes I get down I will trust Him, believe Him, and never doubt Him! Jesus came as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in Him will no longer remain in the dark.

The Blood Of Jesus

A Call to Persevere - And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices. And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. Hebrews 10:18-20

Trust God

I pray, standing on the truth of God's Word with wisdom, knowledge & understanding! Jesus, You have given me the keys to the Kingdom and whatsoever I bind on earth is bound in heaven, & whatsoever I loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Let my will be bound to Your will Father, as I am constantly aware of Your purpose for my life. I decree that I stay bound to Your truths God, & I will not be deceived by the many subtle deceptions of the enemy. I am bound to Your blood Jesus, for miracle working power to restore, heal, protect and preserve in Your Holy Precious Name. Amen!

Thankful

I thank God for my friends who serve the Lord with me. I know God, who chose us, will continue to work in and through us until the glorious day Jesus returns. We are filled with righteousness, through Jesus, and share God's special favor, because we have the privilege of not only trusting Christ, but suffering, as we struggle together, encouraging each other, until that day comes. Philippians 1

Absolute Faith

Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith. The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God. What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to This Time when God would declare the Gentiles to be righteous because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said, “All nations will be blessed through you.” So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith. Galatians 3:6-9 Absolute Faith!

The Lord Jesus Christ

Ephesians 1:2 May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

Joel 2:28

Jesus said; “I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever publicly disowns me will be disowned before the angels of God. And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” Luke 12:8-12

Your Part

Matthew 22:36-38 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.

Faith Is

James 2:14-17 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

HOPE

Romans 8:23-25 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us. We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)

Trust In The Lord

What do you do when life questions your faith, and all the dreams you had seem like they're drifting away? It takes all of your strength just to make it through the day, but through it all keep on trusting God. What do you do when you cried all you can? When you have to wear a smile when you hurt deep inside? What do you do when there is no one you can call? Through it all though it's hard, and I may have to cry sometimes, I've got to keep trusting Him! Deitrick Haddon Trusting God

Trust Me

Lord, be merciful to me and hear my prayer, teach me to trust in You and lean not on my own understanding, so You won't have to knock my feet our from under me to get my attention. ~Amen~

My Soul Finds Rest In God Alone

Psalm 62:5-8 Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.

I Am Blessed Because I Believed The Lord Would Do What He Said!

Trusting God

John 12:44-50 Jesus shouted to the crowds, “If you trust me, you are trusting not only me, but also God who sent me. For when you see me, you are seeing the one who sent me. I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark. I will not judge those who hear me but don’t obey me, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it. But all who reject me and my message will be judged on the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken. I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.”

Thankful

From Our Hearts

Our life comes from our heart, and we must guard our heart with all diligence. Great reservoirs provided by our water companies supply hundreds of streets and thousands of houses. The heart is the reservoir of man. Our life flows through our mouth, hands, and eyes; but comes from the central reservoir, the heart. Therefore, we have to keep our hearts in the proper condition, or all that flows through the pipes will be corrupt.

God is the only one who knows the natural wickedness of our hearts: Jeremiah 17:9 The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked.

The only one who can renew them: Ezekiel 36:25-26 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.

Micah 6:8

One Soul, One Love, One Heart

My soul must come under the hand of the Spirit; just as a piece of clay on the potter’s wheel revolves, is touched by the fingers of the potter, and is molded into what he wishes it to be, I must lie passively in the hand of the Spirit of God. He must work in me to will and do of his own good pleasure. Then I can begin to work out my own salvation with fear and trembling, but never, never until then. I must have more than nature can give me, more than my mother and my father gave me, more than flesh and blood can produce. I must have the Spirit of God from Heaven. What is the best evidence I received him? That I rest upon Christ Jesus alone for salvation.

No Greater Love

There is no greater love than the love You have for me Lord. You gave Your life on Calvary so I am free to tell You of my love, worship, honor, praise and adoration constantly. I sing Your praises all the day long. I worship You above all else! There is no adequate way to express the depth, height, and width of this amazing love You put inside me!

Ordinary People

James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

Keep Your Eyes On Jesus

Never take your eyes off Jesus!
Keep your eyes on the prize!
Hebrews 12:1-3
God’s Discipline Proves His Love - Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up.

King Of The Jews

Luke 23:32-38 There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

And they divided His garments and cast lots. And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.” The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine, and saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself.”

And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew:
THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

A Prayer of Praise

Jude:1:24-25 Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.

Stay Focused On Jesus

God's Love Is Perfect

Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3

The Word By Name Is Jesus

1 John 2:14
I write to you, dear children, because you know the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one

Pray

God answers Prayer! Jesus lives forever to intercede with God on our behalf, and we must never forget Powerful, Unified, Prayer is ALWAYS available to us!!!
“I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:19-20

My Basic Needs Are Quite Simple

What You Seed Is What You Get

We've walked through evils and traps but we're still here. The harvest we don't see is our opportunity and we will excel if we see it as part of our purpose. No thing can stop us, it will only teach us! Keep things in perspective, learn not to worry, it only energizes our enemies. If we focus on problems we give life to them. We make them important, unless we ignore them. Don't try to fix it, leave it alone. We only see our blessings in retrospect because we're looking at the problems. Most people don't really see what they have until they lose it. Every level brings a new devil. The attacks show us we must be SOMEBODY or there would be no purpose to it. If you lose something, it opens you up to a better thing. Our biggest opportunities are born out of crisis, in the chaos. Then we find out who is really with us and who is really for us. Out success does not look or feel like success, until we look back on it. The harvest is coming in big this year. Pressed down, shaken together. Do not speak back to anyone who says it is not so. Our eyes have not seen what is in store for us.

Worthy Is The Lamb

GOD IS WORTHY: I called on the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. Matthew 10:38 If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. Matthew 22:8 And he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, and the guests I invited aren’t worthy of the honor. Acts 5:41 The apostles left the high council rejoicing that God had counted them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus.

Psalm 139:1

O LORD, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.
You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, LORD.
You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!
I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
