You won't get to the promise land if you're not willing to go through the wilderness, so you might as well roll up your sleeves, buckle your seat belts, gird your loins with GOD's word, stay ready for the ride of your life, and get the victory through CHRIST. GOD is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. Don't be like the Israelites who wandered in that desert for 40 years because of a rebellious spirit. Submit, surrender, humble, and bow your head before GOD, cry out LORD HAVE MERCY!! and roll with the punches. Amen. GOD got your BACK when you keep Him up FRONT.

BE BLESSED!!PhotoPhoto

You are the clay pot that God has filled with His Spirit and uses for His glory. Be grateful your body can be used for the glory of God and cooperate in keeping it well.

Psalm 51:10-13 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.

Good Morning Family,
I want you to know that I had a great Godly Time at the Full Gospel Conference in ATL. I also want you to know that God did not waste any time putting back to work. Halleluiah! Last night I received a call from a friend and he began to tell about an incident that happened to him. “It happened to me because I did not think it could happen to me.” This is what he said to me after getting involved in a relationship that almost destroyed his marriage. He never thought anything like that could ever happen to him. So I asked him this question, Why Not?

I want you to know family that he is not alone. It’s easy to think we are immune to sin and temptation. Many of us go to church and try to live right. Sometimes we even shake our heads when others fall into sin. (Please; whatever you do, don’t say to yourself. Not me!) There has been more than just one Christian that has said, “That will never happen to me.” (You can raise your hand now!) But that is when we become extremely vulnerable. Paul warns against that when he says, “Watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted” (Galatians 6:1).

We would do well to make David’s prayer in verses 10-11 our daily prayer. I Do! No matter how strong we might think we are or however good our intentions might be, in our own strength, we are no match for Satan. David was speaking from experience when he prayed, “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.”

So I say to you in closing, take some time over the next few days to memorize that prayer, or write it out and put it on your refrigerator door or bathroom mirror. Pray it often. Only with the Holy Spirit do we have the power to resist temptation. Please; I would be honored if you would pray with me right now. Let us pray; Father God, in the name of Jesus, please forgive us of our sins. “Create in us a pure heart, Lord God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Do not cast us from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from us.” Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You All and Have A Great Godly Day in the Lord.

Minister Calvin Watt

Let me start off today by saying that as we open our hearts to minister to those around us, we soon discover we live in an imperfect world full of sickness, heartache, and frustrations. Many of us (many more than we realize) are facing trials which are sometimes quite severe. When we are finally invited into someone's private world and allowed to hear of their pain, it can be difficult to know what to do or say. And most of the time the words we use like: I understand, or everything is going to be alright, is not enough.

As we grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus, we learn of His truth "Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances" 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. We understand and usually have some actual experience with God's loving plan and purpose. So we might say to them "in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him" Romans 8:28. But there are times when this type of advice - even this type of truth - can be a little cold and fail to comfort or draw someone closer to God.

While it's absolutely true that God will use our pain and suffering for His glory, it may not be the first response someone needs to hear when they enter a difficult trial. Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7 says, "There is a time for everything...a time to be silent and a time to speak." In other words family, we must learn to be sensitive to the more immediate need.

When Lazarus became very sick, Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus but He did not come until after Lazarus died. Mary fell at Jesus' feet and cried: "Lord if You had been here, my brother would not have died" John 11:32. At that moment, Jesus did not begin preaching by saying, "Rejoice in the Lord always!" Philippians 4:4. There would be other opportunities for sermons, other opportunities to speak about faith and trust, but in this moment the need simply required compassion.

John 11:33,35 "When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came along with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled...Jesus wept."

The Creator of the Universe wept! From the beginning of time, Jesus knew He was going to raise Lazarus from the dead; He knew many lives would soon be changed through this miracle. Though good would ultimately come from this pain and sorrow, these were real people who were grieving. You see family; Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. In this time of greatest need, Jesus took time to show He truly cared and understood their pain.

In closing family; let me say that the world is in great need of the healing power of Jesus Christ. Sin has caused separation from God and left many lives in a mess. As we minister through encouragement and the truth of God's Word, we are called to do so while speaking the truth in love. But love does not exist outside of a relationship. In a loving relationship we will often best demonstrate God's truth by listening and comforting with a Godly compassion. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You All and Have A Great Godly Day in the Lord.

Minister Calvin Watt

Good Morning Family. Question; have you ever tried to do anything that you were not gifted to do? Right now someone somewhere is saying to themselves: What are you talking about Minister?

Well let me park here and walk down your street. What I am saying is that if you are not a handy man and there is a household project, like a plumbing leak or anything mechanical, you would call the right person for the job. God has not given you any "natural" gifts for such things. And you would prefer not to buy anything that requires assembly!

I have a friend who can fix or assemble anything. It comes naturally to him, and he loves to help me. This same person looks at some of my abilities to help him with understanding the Bible. We appreciate the gifts God has given to each of us. These differences have created a need for one another. God wants each of us to need one another. 1 Corinthians 12:4 says "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit."

The Scriptures describes the Body of Christ in the same way. Each person is a member of His Body with gifts and talents designed to make His Body perform as a multi-talented group, all playing to the same tune. It is when one member is "out of tune", decides he doesn't like his gifts, or decides to do something he is not designed to do, that orchestra begins to sound off key. Imagine if the parts of the human body decided they didn't want to fulfill their purpose any longer. That body would no longer function effectively because one or more of its members was not operating as it was designed.

So my questions to you this morning family are: What has He equipped you for? What role has He called you to play in God's Kingdom? When one link in the chain is weakened, the whole chain is susceptible to breaking. God made it that way so that we could help that weak link. He made it that way so we would be forced to depend on one another. Are you a strong link in the chain of God's Kingdom? Ask Him if you are fulfilling your role as He designed, and if not, allow Him to order your steps. God Bless You and Have A Great Godly Day in the Lord.
