If there is any conflict or tension in our community of faith, I pray that faith in the unity given by Christ would sustain us. We are at peace with one another, and we thank God for the experience of unity. Lord, we need Christian community. Help me to be there for others in the same way I need others to be there for me. We thank God for what he has done for us, for giving us others who live by God’s call, forgiveness, and promise. We do not complain about what God does not give us; rather we are thankful for what God does give us daily.

Only Jesus

Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy.
