Encouragement 1V

I have the fortitude, I have the grace, I have the blessings, I have the one and only true God on my side so I can accomplish all that I set out to do in Jesus name.

There is no mountain too high for me to climb. There is no dream to high that I can't reach it. There is no hole so deep that I can't climb out of it. There is no problem so great that I cannot solve it. There is nothing too hard for my Saviour and LORD.

Father God you are the beginning and the end of my being. I will accomplish great things in your name. No one can hold me back; just because someone refuses to help me doesn't mean that you're not going to help me. My hope and my strength comes from you. I know LORD what you can do that's why I put all my Faith and hope in you.

All that I am is because of you and all that I will accomplish will be through you. Go before me Lord Jesus and bless my every move.

GIFT FOR CHANGE IS REPENTANCE

The new star above Bethlehem signalled to the wise men and Judean Shepherds the birth of the promised Messiah, the very hope of Israel. In the western hemisphere this same celestial sign came in fulfilment of Samuel’s prophecies to the Nephite people, providing hope and relief to the desperate prayers of the faithful believers facing certain death. For them the hope of Israel could not wait another day.

The birth of Jesus Christ, his life, teachings, infinite atoning sacrifice and resurrection transformed mortality and eternity for everyone and everything ever created. No longer captive by the effects of the Fall of Adam and Eve, mankind became free to choose – and free to change.

“And the Messiah cometh in the fullness of times, that he may redeem the children of men from the fall. And because they are redeemed from the fall, they have become free forever, knowing good and evil; to act for themselves and not to be acted upon… And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life through the great mediator of all men or to choose captivity and death…” (2 Nephi 2:26-27)

What greater evidence is there that God is our loving Heavenly Father than the divine gift He gave of His Only Begotten Son? Is it any wonder that we celebrate the birth of Christ by giving gifts? The atonement of Jesus Christ makes possible the greatest of all the gifts of God, eternal life (D&C 14:7). It also makes possible the full gift of agency; the ability to choose the gift of repentance, which is the ability to change.

We are accountable for our choices and our willingness to change. We are masters of our own fate. The result of our mortal life will be exactly what we choose – we are accountable for who we become. Agency and accountability are inseparable principles. Elder Neil A. Maxwell taught: “If in the end we do not choose Christ, it will not matter what we have chosen.” Eternal life is a gift, but it is also a choice. “Our decisions determine our destiny” said President Thomas S. Monson.

These wonderful divine gifts to choose and to change came at a terrible cost, and are given to us with great expectation and commandment. The Saviour’s invitation to change is not casual:

“Therefore I command you to repent—repent, lest I smite you by the rod of my mouth, and by my wrath, and by my anger, and your sufferings be sore—how sore you know not, how hard to bear you know not. For behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent; but if they would not repent they must suffer even as I; which suffering caused myself, even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit…” (D&C 19:15-18)

The gospel principle most often taught by the Saviour and His holy prophets is repentance – the need to change.

The Saviour is loving, merciful, and forgiving in His invitation to “Come unto me”.

“Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I the Lord, remember them no more” (D&C 58:42). “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18).

The purpose of repentance is not simply to forsake sin; it is also an invitation to become perfect like the Saviour. We need to change everything about ourselves: habits, attitudes, behaviours, attributes and even our natures to become more like Him. Accepting that “no unclean thing can dwell in the presence of God” can be overwhelming. Confronting the reality of our own weaknesses and inadequacies may compound doubts and lead to discouragement, despair and disbelief. But the gift of the atonement comes with divine enabling power to help us change and become who we need to.

Understanding the atonement replaces despair with hope, disbelief with faith, and disablement with divine enablement. ‘True doctrine understood changes attitudes and behaviours said President Boyd K. Packer. How does the atonement make repentance and change possible?

1. The Savior and His teachings provide the example, the pattern and the power to change.

“I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me” (John 14:6).

The Holy Scriptures and words of the living prophets lead us to the gift and influence of the Holy Ghost, “who will show us all things what we should do” (2 Nephi 32:5).

2. Understanding the atonement enhances our ability to pray with faith, and to obtain true knowledge of Jesus Christ; his character, attributes, teachings and divine nature. This knowledge then reveals an understanding of God our Eternal Father and our own divine relationship with Him. “As soon as we understand the true relationship in which we stand toward God (namely, God is our Father, and we are His children), then at once prayer becomes natural and instinctive on our part” (Bible Dictionary, Prayer). Prayer brings comfort and peace, and the realization we can change; spiritual promptings about what we need to change, and spiritual power and strength to be successful.

3. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the first principle of the gospel. It is also a gift resulting from personal righteousness and sustained obedience to God. It is an “assurance of things hoped for” (Hebrews 11:1, JST) and a divine means enabling us to change. “And thus he shall bring salvation to all those who shall believe on his name; this being the intent of this last sacrifice, to bring about the bowels of mercy, which over-powereth justice, and bringeth about means unto men that they may have faith unto repentance” (Alma 34:15). Faith in Christ provides us with the means and assurance that we can and must change—every day.

The new star above Bethlehem appeared over two centuries ago. It was symbolic of Christ; and is a reminder of the pattern, the pathway, and the divine power that constantly invites us to change – to choose to become the sons and daughters of God we were born to become.

Evangelist Sandra Evans Smith

In that place you have found yourself. Although it is very easy to ask why me. But as a servant of God, why not you. Ask what can you learn from what you are enduring. Ask what He is trying to teach you. God is seeking and maturing those He can show Himself through, that He may be glorified. Remember, He does things with eternity in mind,. It is not about you or me. It is all about Jesus. And the Expansion of God's Kingdom!

So In Essence. Do not take everything so personal, it is not our battle. God needs some people He can use! Many say use me Lord. But do they really know what they ask for!
Ecclesiastes 3:11 declares.....
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. Amen

It is truly a Great Day. Yours is what you make it!

Encouragement 111

Dear Heavenly Father.

I humbly come before You and pray for all our brothers and sisters who put their prayers before You. Many are struggling very hard, and facing difficult and heart breaking circumstances.

I don't know all the challenges and the true reality of their struggles, but You know. I see their silent prayer requests; You hear and see their cries, their tears and their prayers. I see the laughter on their profile pictures; You see the tears in their eyes and pain in their hearts. I see what they write and express in their praise to You. You see all that has been taken away from them. I see their beautiful appearance on profile pictures. You see the scars and wounds in their hearts and souls. Encourage Your children.

Father, please have mercy on Your suffering children. Please reach out to them with Your mighty hand, and raise them out their suffering. Do not forsake Your children, for they are the apple of Your own eye. Father, please hold them close in Your Loving arms and comfort the suffering of Your children who cry out to You in their agony. I seek and pray in Your Mighty Name Jesus. AMEN

Encouragement II

Dear Lord,
I pray for those that are tired and weary. I pray that you pour out your anointing over them. Refresh their spirits, give them joy and peace. I lift them up to You. You know their needs, their pain, and their sorrow. I pray for renewal in Your precious name. Let them feel Your love. AMEN!!!

The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Isaiah 58:11Not everything in this life goes our way.
There is no lack of injustice & pain & anxiety in this world. But none of this comes from our Heavenly Father. We should, keep none of it to ourselves. Rather, Our Heavenly Father is inviting us to bring it all to Him, no matter how big or small, so that He can give us His guidance & His comfort. He wants us to be grateful that He is with us, no matter what troubled paths we are on now. This is how our hearts can be guarded & protected. This is how we can hold onto our peace in good & bad days. We may not learn this overnight, but our wise & loving Heavenly Father can teach us, As we learn to bring everything to Him with gratitude & trust.

By the Grace that God has poured on you, God can use your weakness to accomplish great and remarkable things in your life. You are feeling small and insignificant because of circumstances you are facing. If you feel there is nothing in you that God can use because of circumstances.
Think again...
God has greater things in mind for you…far more than you can ever imagine...

Dear Heavenly Father, Please draw me close to You today. In Your Mighty presence is the fullness of life, peace and joy. I want to be filled with Your Divine Holy Spirit. Knowing I am deeply loved by You, which always makes me glad.

Dear Father, I cannot imagine living my life without You. I want to be near to You each day. There is and overwhelming joy of being near to You, and the comfort of Your Loving embrace.
For without You Dear Father, there is no meaning to life, there is only complete darkness, distress and pain.

Dear Heavenly Father, You are my loving Father, Your are my very essence of life. I am renewed and happy with You by my side. I give You all the thanks and praise for all my Blessings on this day and for my Blessings in days to come. In Jesus' Mighty Name I give You Glory and Honor.

Abundant Blessings, Peace, Faith, & Love...
Father as we come to the end of another day we give You praise for allowing us to rejoice in it. Father this prayer is for all my family, friends, strangers, and my enemies. Father I Plead the Blood Of Jesus over all who are connected to me that no harm will come near them. Father I ask that You continue to lead me in the way You want me to go. Father I give You Honor and Glory for giving me eyes to see the vision, and ears to hear Your Voice, knowing You are getting ready to move me to another level. Father I am stepping out in faith knowing You will be there with me every step of the way, for You have already Ordained this to be done. Let Your Will be done in me, and through me. Let my dad 's legacy be carried on. I am sure this is what he would have wanted. I know Father that this is what You want me to do, for it has been laying heavy in my Spirit. I am being obedient, stepping out in faith, listening to Your Voice Father, and getting started on the book that You have placed in me to bring fourth. Father this is Your Will, Your Call on my life so I let Your Will Be Done! Amen! Good Night family and friends may the Lord watch over you giving you peace. May HE sweep through your homes wiping away sicknesses, aches and pains. May he give back all that the enemy has taken from you. May the Lord be your comfort in times of trouble. AMEN! Be Blessed Loves!

John 8:47 NIV Says, "He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."

Let me start off this beautiful morning by saying to you that Jesus said that the key to being able to hear God's voice is first to be one of His children. One of the great mysteries that runs through our logical minds is how God can communicate with six billion people on the earth at the same time. It is one of those mysteries we must let go of because our "hard drives" would crash if we had to explain and understand this before we believed and trusted in Him. It is as though God places a computer chip in each human being, and when we place our faith and trust in Him, it becomes activated. We begin to communicate with Him. Jesus says that if we are children of God, then we can hear God's voice. He further explains this relationship in the following parable:

John 10:1-5 NIV Says,
"I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice."

In other words family the Shepherd is always a representative of Christ. Sheep are representative of God's children. Amen Somebody! This passage tells us that the Shepherd communicates with His children. We are called by name and we can listen to our Shepherd's voice. There is another comforting aspect to this relationship. The Shepherd goes before the sheep to prepare the way. Jesus has already gone before us today to prepare our way…..Halleluiah!!

You see family; by knowing the Shepherd and His voice, it allows us to have the assurance that we will not be fooled by another shepherd's voice. The sheep know His voice. It is only when we are trying to take back our will that we hear another's voice and follow it! What I am saying family is that Sin can create a poor frequency in our communication with the Shepherd. Make sure your frequency is free of static (Sin) today so that the Shepherd can lead you and go before you. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You All; Have A Great Godly Day in the Lord.

Finally, distractions can also keep us from hearing our Shepherd's voice. When the sheep get entangled in the fence or wander off, they get too far away to hear the Shepherd's voice. We must stay in close proximity to the Shepherd to hear His voice. Stay close to the Shepherd today. Listen and follow. He wants to lead you…So Let Him! Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You!
