We have a peculiar power in prayer...the Spirit of God gives us joy & gladness...the Scripture is open to us...the promises are applied...we walk in the light of God's countenance..we have peculiar freedom & liberty in devotion...& more closeness of communion with Christ than was our wont...Action should then be prompt and vigorous...Now is the time to get rid of any evil habit, while Spirit of God helps our infirmities...Seek help from God...that we may be more earnest in duty...when made more strong in faith...that we may be more constant in prayer...when we have more liberty at the throne...that we may be more holy in your conversation...while we live more closely with Christ....Charles Spurgeon♥ (Peculiar - Unique and specific for God's Will)
