The world, indeed, waits for the signs, for dramatic, miraculous workings, as signs of God's Presence but these are always the manifestations of a Spirit that is already there, already present and working, and not the manifestations of a Spirit that is coming. We must once again recognize that the world of man, the world of society are first and foremost renewed in the secret chambers of the human heart, of the human soul. And it is in these changes of the heart, that the activities of the Spirit are the most palpable.
