Just the Promises 6: When your mind is girded with the word, you have the ability to become creative and productive for God, and you will receive what the word tells your mind that you can have. By girding up the loins of your mind, you will protect what you reproduce in the Spirit. God stepped out in the midst of nothing and created a new world. This same God lives in you. Do you understand the significance of this in your prayer life? “You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” Philippians 2:5. This means that if God can think it, speak it, and it comes to pass, then you can gird up your mind, decree his word in prayer, and see results. That is why the warfare is so heavy in your mind. That is why the devil tries to keep you depressed in your mind. He knows that when you begin to gird it up with the word, you will be able to speak those things which be not as though they were.
