Testimony...

Minister Calvin Watt
Good Morning Family,
Let start off this beautiful Monday morning family by saying to you that I can remember when I was young; jumping up out of the bed earlier than usual why; because it was Sunday morning. And all that was on my mind was Church which started off with Sunday school. But I must confess to you family that somewhere between the age of 9 and 13 I drifted away from God and the Church and into the streets. That does when all hell broke loose! But there is one thing I know for sure and that is I left God but He never left me! For the last 14 years family, I have walked with God. I can tell you, from my own experience, that God is faithful!

2 TIMOTHY 2:13 NLT says,
13 If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.

I have failed Him many times, but He has never failed me! God has always taken care of me. He has stuck with me through all kinds of things, always helping me. Even when I was not trying to follow Him, I can see that He was protecting me and helping me. I have not been a perfect person. I have made many mistakes. I have wasted a lot of time and money. I have done a lot of wrong things. But God has never failed to be perfect!

Even now as I write this my eyes are filled with tears of joy, because of the astounding faithfulness of God! To think that the perfect and Almighty God would love me and care for me so faithfully -- one so unworthy -- is beyond comprehension. (I must add that the precious blood of Jesus has made me -- and you -- worthy in God's sight, but don’t get it twisted family; it was nothing we did to deserve God's love and grace. It was a pure gift!)

DEUTERONOMY 7:9 NLT says,
Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God.

What I am saying to you family is that He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. In other words family; God is so good!

PSALM 36:5 NLT says,
Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.

I want you to know this morning family that the wonderful thing about God is that He loves you just as much as He does me. Somehow He is big enough and capable enough to care for all of us who trust in Him. He wants to be more than your God, He also wants be your Friend and Helper -- your Heavenly Father.

1 Corinthians 1:9 NLT says,
God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

In closing family; I want you to know that we are all called to be Children of God, but there are areas in our lives’ family that we must continue to work on. Just imagine family; if we focused on ourselves the way we focus on others, how much better our lives’ would be, (I’m just saying!)I beg you, for your own good, trust in Jesus Christ completely. Turn your life over to Him. Believe His Word! Walk with Him. It is the only way to a true and abundant life! If you don’t remember anything us this morning; remember this: God is always and forever faithful! Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You All; Have A Great Godly Day in the Lord.
