Really believe?

"I felt like I had been riding an emotional rollercoaster, and it made me wonder if something was missing in my relationship with God.

The other day I asked myself, “Do I believe God?” I mean I know I believe in Him, but do I always BELIEVE Him. And it made me wonder, how could each day be different if I really BELIEVE God.

If I had believed God last week, I would have trusted He was working things together for good, even when I get a stomach virus the same day I had a really important meeting at work.

If I BELIEVE God this week, I won’t be anxious when things don’t go well. Instead I’ll turn to Him for peace and thank Him in advance for taking care of all that concerns me.

If I truly BELIEVE God, I won’t stay up late working tonight because the Bible promises God wants to give me the gift of rest, and He knows I need it.” - Renee Swope
