A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment. 2 Peter 3,4, 8-10

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation. We live in such a way that no one will stumble because of us, and no one will find fault with our ministry. In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind.

We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. We prove ourselves by our purity, our understanding, our patience, our kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us, and by our sincere love. We faithfully preach the truth. God’s power is working in us. We use the weapons of righteousness in the right hand for attack and the left hand for defense.

We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us impostors. We are ignored, even though we are well known. We live close to death, but we are still alive. We have been beaten, but we have not been killed. Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.

This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.

Glory of God

We must not disturb this divine arrangement, but ask for grace, so we can keep our body under submission. We were not saved to allow our passions to rule over us, but that we, as kings, may reign in Christ Jesus, over the triple kingdom of spirit, soul, and body, to the glory of God the Father. Free Indeed

John 8:32-36 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. They answered him, We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?

Jesus replied, Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

The Way God Planned It

At a time such as this, let only Your will be done in Your chosen one's lives Lord. Let us be still and know that You are God alone. You chose Your path for our lives before we were born, and not a step we have taken was not orchestrated by You, so that Your purpose for us would be fulfilled. We are grateful for all You do, love You with all we are, and worship and praise Your Holy Precious Name Forever!!!

Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance - an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.

Storms of Life

Storms of life make us tense and uncomfortable. We allow conditions to blow us out of control, and we don't allow God to be in control!!! When a gust of wind comes, birds just stop flapping their wings, keep them spread, and allow God's wind to carry them! When the storm passes it resumes the flight toward its destination!

Isn't it amazing the bird who is not "intelligent", like we are, knows to give God control of its situation! Write a list of things you can do something about and keep it. Write another list of things you can't do anything about and give it to God.

Man...God

Man gets all that is required to live in this world...& forgets to hold everything "earthly" with a loose hand...It all belongs to God...He is just letting us use it for a moment in time.. "Our God gives you everything you need, makes you everything you're to be."~2 Thess. 1:2...& thank God, that He forgives...because....“If God were not willing to forgive sin, heaven would be empty”...♥
