Father God; In the name of Jesus, we come to you as humbly as we know how, with our eyes lifted to the hills from whence cometh all our help. Lord God, it has been said that the Churches are falling apart. People are leaving one Church in search of another. But what they find is basically the same all over. Lord let the people know that there is No Perfect Church! But if we work together as one, we can strive to get better just where we are.
Like the Bumble Bee, we must work together! Everyone has a job to do. Lord God, I pray right now for the Deacons, Ministers and all of the Clergy who do the Lord’s work in the church today. I pray that they would support and uplift the Under Shepard who God has put in place. (The Pastor), like Aaron did Moses. I pray that they would help the pastor carry out the ministry of the church, looking after the needs of the congregation, going about in an attitude of prayer, and seeking Your will in all circumstances and obstacles that arise. I pray for their protection from harm and evil in any form.
I pray that You will anoint, bless, and minister through them to reach people, to show them Your love, and to bring glory and honor to You. Help these ministers to see their role in Your work, and give them the boldness, wisdom, and encouragement to carry on. Help them to follow the Great Commission which tells them to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Help them to remember Father God that You are God all by Yourself and that they need no other. In Jesus' mighty name, this is my prayer. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless You All.
